Purpose of training work This college was established as a life learning center for farmers and soon-to-be farmers.Our goal is to teach them how to develop agriculture in the 21st century in Yamagata.This division trains the people who engage themselves in developing agriculture by many different kinds training and seminars which match the age of technical innovation.

(2)	Training courses
	1)	Training for young people This training is for elementary,junior high school and high school students to inspire interest in agriculture.
	2)	Training for young farmers This training is for young farmers to learn new techniques in agriculture and learn farm management.
	3)	Training for activation of local community This training is for people to master the production technique of local agricultural products and to activate the local community.
	4)	Training for female farmers This training is for female farmers to master the technique in agriculture and farm management because they are playing a more important role.
	5)	Advanced technology training This training includes and information management.
	6)	Agricultural machinery training This training is for farmers to use the various agricultural machinery safety and effectively.
